TEACH GRANT
Under the
College Cost Reduction and Access Act of 2007, Congress is
processing legislation to offer additional grant funds to students
pursuing an undergraduate, graduate or certification in an eligible
education program.

Teachers for Africa
Established
by the late Reverend Dr. Leon H. Sullivan, the teachers for Africa
program is a public-private sector initiative designed to allow
American teachers, school administrators, and professors to spend an
academic year in either French or English speaking African
countries. Selected volunteers will be placed in African schools,
colleges, universities, and government agencies to help improve the
quality of the educational systems.
Qualifications

Be a US
citizen or a permanent resident
·
Have a
college degree
·
Have one to
three years experience as a teacher, professor, or administrator
·
Present
evidence of good health
·
For French
speaking countries, proficiency in French language required
The program
offers free travel and insurance, and $800 per month stipend.

P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education
(PCE) was established in 1973 to provide need based grants to women
in the United States and Canada whose education has been interrupted
and who find it necessary to return to school to support themselves
and/or their families.

(PSA) was established in 1991 to provide substantial awards to women
of the United States and Canada who are pursuing a graduate degree,
terminal degree masters or are engaged in graduate research at an
