How to use Microsoft FrontPage

1. Open FrontPage, go to FILE/OPEN WEB.
2. The following dialog box will appear:
Beside Folder Name: type http://www.birdnest.org/your_username your_username and click OK (or hit ENTER on the keyboard).
3. A box might pop up where you enter your name and password. Beside Name enter acc\username. Beside password enter your password and click OK.
You have now opened your personal folder located on the ACC WebServer www.birdnest.org.
The default FrontPage Window shows you various view options
(A), the files and folders in your web
(B), and View you have currently chosen
(C). The view shown below is Page View, which displays the page you are currently editing.
Some other views you might use are FOLDERS and HYPERLINK.
Folder view - Folder view lists your web pages and images contained on your web pages much like the contents of a disk are listed when you click on the A: drive.
B. Hyperlink View - Hyperlink view is a graphical representation of your web pages and the links and graphics they contain. For instance, the page called "Home Page" below contains the images Light_Grey_Brick.gif, handshake1D.gif and links to the page titled "How to use Microsoft FrontPage" and to an email address.
