As the children arrive, they select their morning activities.  The children work individually or in small groups, free to move around the room and choose learning centers according to their needs and interests.

Review
Children and teachers discuss the morning’s activities in large or small groups/Calendar and Morning Message.

10:30 – 11:20

Play outdoors or in the Withers Activity Center

11:20 – 11:30

Remove coats, get water, etc.

11:30 – 11:50                                   

Group Time
Total group activities include stories, songs, movement activities, games and rhymes.

12:00 – 12:30      

Lunch

12:30 – 1:30                                               

Quiet Time
Children rest on mats or nap
