Writer's Workshop for
Admission to Teacher Education Essays

is offering a writer’s workshop for students applying for admission to
teacher education on:
This workshop is designed
to help students understand the writing prompt and the rubric, familiarize
them with common mistakes that students make when submitting the essay,
allow time and input on the opening paragraph, and provide students the
opportunity to come up with the three learning experiences they will write
about in the essay. Participation is limited to the first 20 participants
for each session. Please contact Suzy Baldwin,
baldwins@winthrop.edu to sign up. All handouts and materials will be
provided. Additional sessions will be scheduled for subsequent months.
