will design a rough draft of a PowerPoint
presentation about their assigned
Spanish speaking country.
Lesson Details
Objectives:
TSWBAT: Design a PowerPoint slide using
information gathered about a Spanish
speaking country.
Setting: 1 computer classroom–
40 minute Related Arts class

Greet students and ask ¿Cómo estás?
Show example PowerPoint show and explain
that they will be creating and showing a similar presentation about their
country.
Explain that their show will have 6
slides (while showing examples):
Title Slide (Country and Team Member
names)
People (population, religion)
Geography
Government
Major Holidays
Art and Entertainment
Hand out design sheets while allowing groups to assign 1 slide to
each
team member. (The group will create the title slide together.)
Tell students to look at the worksheets and explain that each slide needs
4 items. Display sample slide again to highlight each one:
Heading
Important Fact #1
Important Fact #2
Something I liked about the country…..
Have students use the blank sheets to
write their slides, using the information they gathered in the Globe Raider
activity.
If there is time left, show brief demonstration
of PowerPoint.
