Bullfighting

Title:  Bullfighting
Subject Areas: Spanish, Math, Art, Language Arts

Summary of Lesson:   Students will take a virtual trip through the world of  bullfighting.  Based on this information, students will answer an ethical question on bullfighting.
Lesson Details  

 

Objectives:  Students will answer questions about bullfighting.
Students will construct a short essay on bullfighting.
Students will recall facts for a follow-up discussion.
Setting: Computer lab
Procedures:    Day One
Take students to computer lab.
Have students work on worksheet questions by looking at:

Students will be given one 40 minute class period to finish the worksheet.  They may need to finish the assignment outside of class.
Day Two
Take students to computer lab.
Have students answer question on bullfighting. This may be given to the students the day before for those who wish to prepare a response ahead of time.  Responses will be typed in Microsoft Word using 12 pt., Arial or Comic Sans font. 
Technology 
Specific Activity:

Students will access bullfighting website and  answer questions.
Students will use Microsoft Word to type a response to a question on bullfighting.
