Summary of Lesson:   Students navigate through a website independently to find information about nutrition, including the food pyramid, nutritional content of food and menu planning.
Lesson Details
Objectives: 

The student will:

  • Use basic computer skills to navigate through a website.
  •   Identify parts of a food pyramid
  • Classify nutrients
  • Describe healthy meals and snacks
 
Setting: Best in Computer lab, can be modified for multi-computer classroom
