Zest Quest is a school-based wellness program to help youths increase their physical activity and make healthy nutrition choices.  It also aims to create a "culture of wellness" at the school, at home within the family, and in the community.  Zest Quest is funded through a not-for-profit foundation dedicated to improving children's health.

At the school, there is a Wellness Coach who delivers the curriculum and meets with each class once per week.  Lesslie Elementary, located in York County, S.C. District III,  is the local school for the program.

Winthrop is playing a major role in the research and evaluation plan and in the curriculum development.
